We are extremely proud to share Bill Bracey has been awarded winner of the highly acclaimed industry recognition award Gerald Lippman Perpetual Trophy for 2018.

The Gerald Lippman award is the pinnacle accolade for the Charter Financial Planning  community and puts Bill in esteemed company with past winners. It is testament to his unwavering commitment to his clients, his colleagues and the financial advice profession over a long period of time.

Many of you will be well-acquainted with Bill. A natural leader in our community, he is always willing to help, whether that means offering to share his insights with peers at Charter events or tirelessly raising funds for needy causes.

The Gerald Lippman award considers the contribution the adviser has made to the financial planning profession, their involvement within their community, the support they offer their colleagues, and the quality of their practice, and quality of advise over many years .

While building a leading advice business over 30 years, Bill has repeatedly lent his time and expertise to those in need. His tireless fundraising for the Sir David Martin Foundation, helps young people in crisis, has seen him abseil off the AMP Capital building four times.

Always happy to represent the industry, in 2015 Bill starred in Your Best Interest, a reality TV  program aimed at correcting the perception of financial advice and showing the difference good advice can make to people’s lives. He also contributes regularly to The Really Simple Guide to Money magazine. Ben Climo, Charter’s Head of Adviser Network for NSW/ACT, said ‘Bill’s interactions with his clients are beyond reproach and he regularly receives advocacy and positive feedback from them. It’s not surprising then that Bill has made the Beddoes Most Trusted Advisers list for the last four years.’

Bill takes his role as a leader in the Charter community in earnest and has been involved with the NSW state chapter of the ARA since 2012. He demonstrates strong leadership through his attendance at all local Charter events, including PD days, practice management forums, and award dinners and peer-to-peer forums, and ensuring his business directors do the same. A Charter Leader since its inception, his willingness to share business insights from his long career with his peers via various forums is unparalleled.

Bill joins the prestigious Gerald Lippman Alumni.

Bill has become one of the immortals now. Please join us in congratulating Bill.
